The bejucos basking workshop "bejuqueando ando" is a form of experiential tourism that consists of our visitors knowing how to interact and learn about the craft trade of basketry, all its processes and techniques of elaboration that for more than 100 years has remained associated with coffee production, as a tradition and intangible heritage in the department of Quindío.





ITINERARY

It all starts in the park of Filandia where we will transport you in a Jeep up to a guided tour through the forest where you can learn about the whole process of collecting and preparing the vines used in the elaboration of the baskets ”, then a visit will be made to the Interpretation Center of the Bejuco and the Canasto where you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour in order to get to know the h istoria and elaboration processes of coffee baskets, you will later participate in a Micro- workshop where you can prepare your OWN BASKET (Includes Materials, supplies and tools) while enjoying a delicious pandebono with traditional coffee made in a wood stove. Finally, you will take a tour of the Barrio de los Artesanos (workshop visit).

Note: If you wish you can enjoy a delicious traditional lunch for an additional $ 6,000 COP

- Transportation from other Municipalities (If required we can supply it with additional cost)

- Everything that is not expressly mentioned in the itinerary

- Lunch (Fiambre) is made to order and has an additional cost of $ 6,000 Colombian pesos.
