ITINERARY

The experience begins in La Iglesia del Corregimiento de la Virginia where our guide (Baquiano) will be waiting for us, who will lead us along a path along concrete tracks with slopes of up to 27%, to reach the lower part of the ecopark. where the parking lot and the entrance to the Peñas Blancas Ecopark (1850 meters above sea level) are located.

The first part of the route is approached along a zigzag path with slopes that vary between 5% and 15%, through an area initially dedicated to coffee cultivation and today reforested with species of coffee walnut and cedars, as well as cultivation of “lemon grass” and “citronella” that set the mood and aromatize the route, until reaching the base camp (1930 meters above sea level) after 1.1 km of travel.
