Rural Adventure's Cocora Valley Horseback Ride
ITINERARY
The tour begins in the Cocora Valley, where upon arrival, a brief introduction will be provided, along with safety recommendations and horse assignments. Then, we will begin our ride through green meadows and enjoy the scenery. We will pass through areas home to the iconic wax palms, Colombia's national tree. We will also ride alongside the magical cloud forest, an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, making brief stops to observe the local fauna (birds and insects) and the typical flora of the region. We will reach the famous viewpoints, the highest point from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Cocora Valley. There, we will stop to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. Finally, we will continue our ride toward the river, following picturesque trails. Upon arrival, we will make a brief stop near the river (also known as the "planchón") for the horses to rest and the participants to hydrate. We will then begin our return to the meeting point, enjoying the ride and the company of nature.
