ITINERARY

It all starts in the main square of Filandia where we will pick you up in a Jeep - Willys M38A1 "Minguerra" (named by the Colombians) in order to discover the fascinating history that hides the legendary JEEP and why it became an iconic and iconic vehicle. cult around the world, you will learn the reason for its arrival in Colombia, the most common models of the coffee region and the origin of the term "Yipao"; while we visit the most emblematic sites of FILANDIA such as: La Plaza de Bolívar, María Inmaculada Temple, Antigua Calle del Empedrado, Mirador "Encanto" Mental Hospital and Coffee Association of Women Coffee Growers (where you can see the Municipalities of Quindío, Risaralda and North of the Valley as well as vestiges of the Quimbayas indigenous terraces), then we will visit the Casa de los Abuelos Museum, Section of the old Camino del Quindío, Barrio San José, El Mirador Colina Iluminada, Calle de Venus (Old zone of tolerance), Center of Interpretation of the Bejuco al Canasto and finally we will have a coffee while we recognize the particularities of the public Jeeps or "Mechanical Mules" that are in the main square of Filandia.
