The liana basketry workshop "bejuqueando ando" is a form of experiential tourism that consists of our visitors knowing, interacting and learning about the artisan trade of basketry, all its processes and production techniques that for more than 100 years have remained associated with the production of coffee, as a tradition and intangible heritage in the department of Quindío.
Bejuqueando Ando (Forest Tour) from Rural Adventure
ITINERARY
It all begins in the park of Filandia where we will transport you in a Jeep with a guided tour of the forest in which you can learn about the entire process of harvesting, planting and preparing the vines used in the elaboration of the baskets, then we will visit the Bejuco y el Canasto Interpretation Center where you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour in order to know the h istoria and the processes of making coffee baskets, later you will participate in a Micro- workshop where you can make your OWN BASKET (Includes Materials, supplies and tools). Finally, you will take a tour of the Barrio de los Artesanos (visit to workshops).
