I had the opportunity to discover the tallest palms in the world in the Cocora Valley, through a fascinating guided tour in which they told me in detail everything about the area. The Wax Palm is the national tree of Colombia, without a doubt its beauty, its extraordinary resistance and its longevity are also up to par.

ITINERARY
The adventure begins in the Salento park where the guide will be waiting for us in order to board a Jeep-Willys heading to the Cocora Valley. Upon arrival we will take a guided tour of approximately 4 kilometers in which we will tell you the most relevant things about the Valley while We are heading towards the viewpoints, where you will enjoy the best landscape that the Cocora Valley offers and take some spectacular photos worthy of Instagram in La Red or Malla, Homage to the Chonta (Fruit of the Wax Palm), El Signboard of Cocora , Las Alas del Cóndor, and the Miradors de Palmas de Cera; emblematic places in the Cocora Valley. Finally there we will take a break again and enjoy the landscape in order to continue downhill towards the starting point where we will later take a Jeep to Salento.
