La Granja Mana María is a spectacular rural tourist destination, where you can enjoy and learn about the peasant culture of this beautiful region. Cafe Tour´- Manamaría by Rural Adventure
ITINERARY
It all starts in the municipality of Filandia, where we will pick you up in a camper heading to the Manamaría Ecogranja, there we will give you a brief presentation and general information about the location of the farm and a historical overview of the creation of our life project, then We will take the collection baskets and head to the coffee plantation. During this tour we will explain to you about the different species that are found along the way. After collecting the beans and living the experience of being collectors for a few minutes, we will move on to the coffee pulping, benefit and drying process. Then we will grind roasted coffee to prepare and enjoy it. After enjoying this delicious coffee prepared by ourselves, we will go to the cultivation of anthurium, pompom, gladiolus and sunflower flowers, then to the organic garden, and to the minor species stations where we will find rabbits, chickens, fish and goats, and finally Lastly we will tell you about the artisanal mill (panela), to finish enjoying a delicious snack prepared with products from the same farm. And finally we will take you back to the meeting point.
Note: If visitors wish, we can take a tour along a small ecological trail that the farm has.
ANOTHER OF OUR TOURS
If you are passionate about it and want to know more about our cyclists' star product "La Panela", we can do it by making a reservation at least 3 days in advance where you will live the experience related to the sugar mill culture.
